Gay Sydney Events
Sydney is theParty Capital of the Southern Hemisphere. With Mardi Gras now firmly established as one of the biggest gay events on the planet, this one month festival has to be experienced at least once and indeed for many hs become an annual pilgirmage.. no matterlong or arduous the journey!
Sydney is also the home of the New Years Eve party. The first major city to welcome in the new year, it does so in spectaculare fashion. If you can get here in December then do so! You won't regret it.. just be sure to have your vantage point well researched and your praty tickets booked in advance.
Having said that, Sydney is a year round city and although slightly quieter in the Winter months, the city is lways bussing with a range of events, concerts, festivals and unique one off parties that make tis one of the top gay party capitals in the world.
There are several themed nights at each of the clubs and bars along the Oxford Strip and in the other now popular areas of Potts Point, Surrey Hills and Newtown. They change regularly, but we have highlighted the best ones oin the bars and clubs sections.
Remember Sydneysiders tend to party hard... even on a Sunday night (some would say enve more so on a Sunday). Man clubs and bars are open all day and all night and you can often meet people from the night before still out having a good time!
