If you the amazing fireworks in Sydney then head for the Opera House. the Opera Bar is the perfect place to watch the fireworks from, or if you really want to push the boat out, go for one of the New Years Eve Dinner Cruises where you will be able to see the fireworks from your very own yacht. Points of Difference also hots a special party iwth Gaydar on the harbour. Tickets are limited to 200.

Remember this is an event that attractions over 500,000 people. You will ned to plan your event in advance. There are several security and bag checks along the routes and certain vantage points fill up very very early. NYE at the Red Rattler

The Red Rattler is celebrating its successes in 2009 as a not-for-profit space devoted to the art practices of the queer community. In the past year the Rat has hosted performance art, theatre, art and craft festivals, live music, movie screenings, the launch of a clothing range, political meetings and charity benefits. Who knows what you'll see there in 2010? This New Year's Eve party will showcase JD Samson (Le Tigre/ MEN) of New York, DJ Gemma (Club Kooky/Club Arak), Blush Foundation, Glitta Supernova, WIFE, Mighty Hermaphrodite and Stranger Danger, with more performers to be announced.

Celebration

Points of Difference Events in association with Gaydar.com.au presents Celebration, a New Year's event that surpasses all others for unobstructed Harbour views, fabulous food and beverage service, world class DJ accompaniment and pyrotechnic visual display.
