A brand new and exciting event for 2010, the Mardi Gras Beach Party invites you to shake your tail feather all the way east at the world famous Bondi Beach.Immortalised in film, art and many a postcard, Bondi is where Sydneysiders and visitors alike kick back, take in the rays and do just a little bit of showing off.

Mardi Gras will be taking over the historic Bondi Surf Bathers’ Life Saving Club (the first to be founded in Australia), with a unique beach party experience for revellers who want to party by the Pacific. Overlooking all the fun and action of the Mardi Gras Drag Races, the Surf Club is the perfect way to spend your Friday afternoon. Grab a drink in one of the two indoor spaces or chill in one of the outdoor areas of the Club. Then get the weekend started, partying well into the night with some of Sydney’s best DJs and drag acts.

This event promises to be one of the true highlights of the Festival!
