You haven't experienced a trun night out in Sydney if you havent taken on one of the city's world famous drag show acts. Here are our top 5 (in no particular order)

1 Tale of Two Titties
You can depend on her even on your heaviest days. Maxi Shield is Sydney's drag royalty and does a fabulous tag team with the irresistible Verushka Darling to re-enact scenes from Mommie Dearest and The Bad Seed. As if those films weren't gay enough already. Sundays 11.30pm, The Midnight Shift, 85 Oxford St, Darlinghurst 2010.

2 Disgraceland
Courtney Act is at the top of Sydney's cabaret ladder and knows how to knock a crowd for six. Her Friday night gig, Disgraceland, is shaping up to be one hell of a hoot with fabulous drag to boot. So don't miss it kids! Fridays 10pm, Nevermind, 163 Oxford St, Darlinghurst 2010.

3 Arq Candy
If ever there was a fantastic four of super drag, it's these guys. Mitzi Macintosh, Kitty Glitter, Ashley Evans and Antony Ginandjar pull their talents together and blow all over the crowd with this jaw-dropping show at Arq. It's like Hi-5 on acid. Sundays 11.30pm, Arq Nightclub, 16 Flinders St, Darlinghurst 2010.

4 Disco Heaven
Our Time Out gal pal Minnie Cooper joins Decoda Secret, Charisma Belle, Anthony and Daniel for this fluoro-electro-disco spectacular. Think high energy, think in your face, think gender-bendingly hot! Fridays 11pm, The Midnight Shift, 85 Oxford St, Darlinghurst 2010.

5 Polly's Follies
If you enjoy the hilarious wit of a sharp-tongued drag legend with a heart of gold, you can't go past Polly Petrie. Polly hosts this Sunday afternoon drag-a-thon of sing-alongs and cutting one-liners that will keep Tena Pads shares skyrocketing. Sundays 2pm, Stonewall, 175 Oxford St, Darlinghurst 2010.
